The developers of ISS Art have created a new feature for saving disk space on one of the projects.
The specialists of ISS Art have been working on creating a plugin for JIRA for a long time. This plugin allows developers to work effectively with code and repositories, review code and track the changes made to the code.
A new feature Discard cloned binary files has been developed for saving disk space. Thanks to this feature,files corresponding to the predetermined mask (for instance, *.zip, *.mp3) are deleted automatically. As a result we have free disk space. On this project it has been an acceptable solution, because we work with cloned repository and it requires to store only necessary information. We’ve used AspectJ and Java reflection to implement this feature.
