ISS Art is starting working on a new application “Remote assistant” which will connect a user with a qualified expert using real-time video and augmented reality.
The company is going to develop a new application for the mobile phones and smart glasses. The idea of the app is to connect a user who needs help with a remote expert via a video chat. For example, when a user needs assistance or guidance in performing some operations (repairing the machinery, selecting a complex sequence of actions on the remote control, etc.), the application enables the user to start a video chat with an expert. The expert who sees the real-time video based on the user’s field of view can provide guidance via voice and annotate the screen image by drawing and writing that will be shown to the user in the augmented reality.
The application can be used in the hardware technical support and service, telemedicine, etc.
