Altimage automatic information collecting system (http://altimage.com/altrace)

This is a system for collecting information about users looking through electronic presentations of different formats (PowerPoint, Macromedia Director Movie) and different sources (CD, DVD, web-pages).
In order to use information collecting system a user only has to add it to presentation.
Upon putting on a CD a user will be offered to install Altimage module on his (her) computer. Upon the user’s consent the module is placed in a system file and while viewing a presentation, the module collects data into a temporary file, when the demonstration is finished and in case the user is sill on-line, the module will send the data to the website and will be self-removed, if not, it will wait for the user to log on to the Internet. The data collected is in real-time sent to the database on the server. For checking results AltraceView console is used. Upon receiving login and password for the access, the user can view a summary report on Altimage web-site, which will include the following information:

-    Number of visits;
-    Average time spent on a page;
-    Equipment combination (video card type, picture resolution, monitor colors quantity);
-    Operation system;
-    Browser type;
-    User’s IP- address;
-    Sources popularity rating if the presentation is placed on the Internet, CDs, DVDs;
-    Maximum activity time of the users who viewed presentation.

The system can be applied for collecting information about users of musical discs, video-games, discs with licensed software, interactive identity cards, promo-discs. The system is supplied with multi-language support.
